My teachers throughout high school loved using Kahoot! because it would motivate the class, increase student engagement. and fosters active participation and healthy competition. Kahoot! is a tool that presents questions set up as a game that students can play either individually or in groups, and has proven highly effective for many students in critically retaining and discussing curriculum.

Quizlet is a learning platform that allows students to create personalized quizzes flashcards, and practice tests, containing over 100 million sets of study material from students and educators around the world. Quizlet isn't only limited to students, but for anyone wanting to learn a new topic, test their skills, and build their own study sets on what they've learned as they progress in the field. The app also allows leaners to create games based on their study sets, similar to Kahoot!

Brain Pop is designed for students in third grade and up, and is an education site that hosts over 1,000 animated clips and movies on a wide variety of life and school related topics. Tim and Moby, the main characters of the videos, make difficult subjects, whether academic or not, more accessible to young students. I always struggled in science growing up, but using Brain Pop allowed me to understand difficult subjects due to the comedic and simplistic nature of the educational videos.
